SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Junk King, one of the nation’s leading junk removal companies, hosted its 8th annual franchise convention and awards announcements at the corporate headquarters in South San Francisco from October 14-16.
Themed, “From the Franchisee”, the 2018 convention featured presentations from the franchisees themselves in addition to presentations from the corporate team. The team together celebrated notable growth over the past year, with a total of 319 trucks on the road and 105 franchise locations.
During the three-day convention, franchisee presentations covered topics such as ways to build a solid culture, the importance of networking and lessons learned along the way. The convention also included presentations from the home office on a variety of topics, including operations strategies, how to utilize each other and the excitement ahead for 2019.
“It was truly inspiring to witness the franchisees speak at our convention this year and see the passion they have for the industry and running their own businesses,” said Michael Andreacchi, CEO and co-founder of Junk King Franchise Systems. “We gained great insight from our franchisees this convention, and our corporate team is excited for the months ahead.”
Throughout the presentations, the corporate team gave out several franchisee awards for various achievements. Ten awards were given in six categories.
