The leading home care company with more than 200 franchised units across 34 states domestically, as well as in Canada, Central and South America, announced today the opening of a new location that will service the region – Homewatch CareGivers of Westchester. The opening of the new operation allows Homewatch CareGivers to provide its high quality at-home assistive services to a greater number of clients.
Local resident Tom Longman is the owner of the new Homewatch CareGivers of Southern Westchester. Established to provide the area with the high-quality care necessary for residents to remain independent and healthy within their own homes, the company’s services are flexible and customized specifically to blend seamlessly into clients’ day-to-day lives.
“With the increased elderly population and experiencing my own parents being taken care of by Homewatch CareGivers (my mother still is to this day), I knew that this was the right choice for me,” said Tom. “Their proven systems and strong reputation of providing high-quality service to each and every community they serve was of utmost importance to me. I have experienced firsthand what a difference a quality caregiver can make for a loved one and his or her family.”
Homewatch CareGivers of Southern Westchester provides home care services for families arranging care for senior-aged loved ones and others living with chronic illnesses, convalescing after illness or surgery or who prefer to age in their own homes under the supervision and care of highly trained caregivers.
Tom has entered franchising with a unique business experience. He worked as an equity analyst and research director on Wall Street. His background will play an important role in helping him coach and supervise his team to constantly provide high quality service to his community.
“Every time we open a new location, we have the opportunity to touch people’s lives,” said Chip Baranowski, director of franchise development for Homewatch CareGivers, “I know that Tom will make an outstanding new member of our organization, and his commitment to service and the local community will make his business a trusted partner for residents in the Westchester area.”
